The Hydroturbine Speed Control System Simulation Tester is a comprehensive testing platform developed specifically for characterizing hydroelectric power generation speed control systems and automatic synchronizing systems. The instrument can perform tests such as no-load oscillation, no-load disturbance, load shedding, and dead time for hydro turbine speed control systems, as well as tests on governor static characteristics, relay switching rules, and simulated start/ shutdown support, frequency deadband measurement, load response tests, and primary frequency regulation tracking of the power grid. It automatically generates various types of test reports. The Hydro Turbine Speed Control System Simulation Tester can also function as a general-purpose waveform recorder and frequency generator, with a system sampling frequency of up to 4 kHz, which significantly broadens the instrument's scope of application and enhances its flexibility.
The hydro turbine governor system simulation tester integrates five different types of hydro turbine unit models. The instrument can execute simulation functions for these models, forming a closed-loop system with the governor. This allows for convenient dynamic testing of the governor without the need for connection to an actual unit.
