Primary Current Injector

Primary current injector HYPCIT series is used in power system high voltage switch testing, protection system testing and current transformer testing. The instrument generates high current from the power supply to simulate the rated current or fault current in the primary circuit of power equipment.
The main applications and functions of HYPCIT are as follows:
1) The high current output is injected into the main circuit of the operating line to simulate fault currents and then to test whether the protection system can operate according to the design.
2) The high current output is injected into the primary side of the current transformer, and then the induced current is tested from the secondary side by an error meter to detect the current transformer ratio difference and phase displacement.
3) High current output is injected into the main circuit of the high voltage switch to simulate the rated current on the primary side, and then the stability of the switch is tested according to the temperature rise process.
