Material Of Transformer Oil Testers

Transformer oil testers themselves are not made of transformer oil. Their "material" typically refers to the physical materials used for the instrument's casing and internal components. Their function is to test the performance of transformer oil, such as insulation strength and dielectric loss factor.

These instruments generally consist of the following parts:

Casing Material: Mostly high-strength engineering plastics or metal alloys to ensure durability and electromagnetic shielding performance;

Internal Core Components: Includes standard capacitors, AC test power supply, temperature control system, dielectric loss test bridge, etc., integrated into a single structure;

Detection Components: Equipped with a dedicated oil cup (usually with stainless steel or copper electrodes) for holding transformer oil samples and measuring dielectric strength or dielectric loss angle.

It is important to note that users sometimes misunderstand "the material of a transformer oil tester" as "the material of the transformer oil that can be detected." In reality, this instrument does not analyze the chemical composition of the oil, but rather evaluates its electrical properties.
